My old cat was not keen on this first. I now understand that animals with dementia usually don‘t like new food. With maxxipaws help I managed to get him to accept this in the end. I gave him tiny amount for few days, then increased it very slowly over couple of weeks and finally he eats his food with the full dosage. This does not cure dementia, nothing does. But it helps to keep him less confused. Which everyone with animal with dementia knows is priceless. This is such an awful condition. I know we don’t have much time left together but every month / week / day counts!
